‘Pumped up’ Shannon Sharpe won’t hesitate to roast Stephen A. Smith at all after seeing Tom Brady’s ‘roast of Tom Brady’

It was a slugfest for the ages. None of the participants, or in this case, the roasters, did not back away from throwing even the kitchen sink at the 46-year-old on May 5.

After witnessing the laughter-filled show firsthand, Shannon Sharpe claimed that if the network makes Stephen A. Smith the subject, then he will be ready in a heartbeat to roast him.

If they say Shannon, 'we are having a roast such and such. Could you come?' Absolutely... I don't care if they are having it on the moon, [and] I am coming. I am paying for my own wage to come. Shannon Sharpe ranted during the recent episode of ESPN’s First Take

You would roast me? You would roast me in a heartbeat, with no hesitation. Stephen A. Smith quipped

Well, if Smith’s serious about it, then he should brace for some tough love. And before the show, he ought to inform the kin not to act like Shayanna Jenkins (ex-wife of Aaron Hernandez ) or Gisele Bundchen afterward.

Both Sharpe and Smith were shocked to hear all the jokes that the participants were throwing at the five-time Super Bowl MVP. The Hall of Fame tight end argued that he can take any joke if it comes from someone whom he is familiar with. However, when a comedian makes them—like Tom Brady—whom he has never met, it will be hard to digest.

You are right, Stephen A. I can take it, like the people I know. Like you roasting me. People I know. But a lot of these comedians... Boy, Stephen A., they dropped the hell on Tom. Shannon Sharpe added

Brady signed up for the event, aware that it would be all hell let loose. Yet even some of the jokes caught him off guard. Let’s take, for instance, Hart’s opener. The Jumanji star, off that bat, brought Brady’s former wife Gisele Bundchen, and teammate Antonio Brown into the frame. Hart claimed Bundchen was Brown’s plus-one for the night, which drew awkward laughs from the crowd.

It continued with Nikki Glaser, who bashed Brady for allegedly leaving his first love, Bridget Moynahan when she was pregnant with his first child Jack.
